"Dabbling in" is dedicated to learning and understanding other cultures. We will go to Serbia, and then more broadly into the other Balkan nations. We want to show how wonderful the people are, what they do and how they live. We also want to explore the regions rich history. It's amazing to be in locations that were bustling with activity in Roman times! And finally one of the important reasons to understand another country's people, culture, history and language is to understand current events properly. This provides the context to understand the reactions we see today from people who are just like us. As we go, we will also work hard to find products in the Balkans and make them available to the world. This way we can support the hard working people we meet and support the channel.

I was part of an team that provided a broad range of custom software development services for our clients. I developed custom back office web and windows applications for the hazelnut, seed, nursery and trucking industries. New back office solutions were developed using C# and the .NET development stack. My primary responsibility at Retail Dimensions was to design, develop and maintain integration solutions for Retail Pro. I wrote integrations that included the full spectrum of Retail Pro 8 and 9 components:- Sales Orders and Receipts- Purchase Orders and Vouchers- Inventory Updates and Memo Adjustments- Transfer Orders and Slips- Customers Other development responsibilities included:- Primary RDIce/Retail Pro E-Commerce developer. RDIce is Retail Dimensions flagship Retail Pro 9 e-commerce integration product. I wrote and maintained the integrations for Shopify, Amazon and ChannelAdvisor.- Wrote and maintained the CPIce desktop product. This product integrates the CounterpointSQL retail back office system with the RDi Magento e-commerce integration for websites. - Wrote and maintained the RD8 desktop product. This product integrates Retail Pro 8 with the RDi Magento ecommerce integration module. - Delivered RPro4Web integrations for e-commerce and back office platforms including ChannelAdvisor, Amazon, Network Solutions, Modern Retail, Specialty Toys Network, Dydacomp Multichannel Order Manager and ShipWorks.- Wrote and maintained Retail Dimensions Bulk Billing Manager for Retail Pro 9- Wrote and maintained the Retail Pro 8 Amazon integration product.- Wrote and maintained RPro4Shipping for Retail Pro 9. Evanoah I/T Services was dedicated to helping individuals and organizations find ways to accomplish their goals more efficiently using technology. To that end we offered network administration services and custom software development. To support our training efforts we produced a number of Windows end-user and Delphi development videos on YouTube. These Evanoah training videos have been viewed over 1.3 million times since 2010.Evanoah currently only does custom software development. - Served as a Network Administrator in a six person team to provide I/T support for Touchmark Assisted Living Communities, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Home Health Agencies in eight states and one province. - Co-designed, implemented and supported Active Directory and Exchange Messaging Infrastructure.- Co-designed, implemented and supported VPN WAN between communities and central office.- Worked closely with Intranet developer and departments to plan, develop, document and support internal Touchmark applications.- Researched applications in conjunction with department heads to make purchasing recommendations.- Managed, installed and supported the clinical applications for Assisted Living communities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health agencies, Therapy and Health and Fitness departments.- Managed HIPAA transition and served as the I/T Department’s HIPAA compliance officer.- Conducted all group training provided by the I/T Department for diverse reasons including application deployments, new employee orientations and corporate events.- Maintained software licensing information to ensure compliance with the terms of Touchmark's vendors.- Provided desktop support to Touchmark employees using Microsoft Office 97 to 2007, Windows 98 to Vista, and many other job specific applications across the enterprise.- Created and maintained most of the I/T departments standard operating procedures

- Provided phone support for WebTrends products. This included WebTrends Enterprise Suite, WebTrends Enterprise Reporting Server, WebTrends Log Analyzer, WebTrends Professional, WebTrends Security Analyzer, and WebTrends for Firewalls and VPN's. - Primary support person for the WebTrends Enterprise Reporting Server operating on Linux and Sun Solaris Operating Systems.
