Led Company Vision Committee for the local branch for developing education materials, presiding monthly meetings, and hosting agency forums. Senior Personal Lines Underwriter: 7 years.• Designed and implemented point-of-sale underwriting in a field office, which helped reduce our California Homeowners loss ratio from 90.7% in April of 1995 to 51.0% in December of 1996.• Researched and implemented changes to the California Homeowners underwriting standards to ensured continued profitability for Nationwide when most companies had ceased writing this line of business.• Provided on-site training and underwriting support to field sales offices. • Recommended processing changes for the underwriting of our new Personal Umbrella policies.
