I was responsible to shoot captivating images for print in our daily newspaper. Either at sporting events, business profiles, spot news events, wild art assignments or other features. I also edited my photos, wrote cutlines and filed pictures to be published online and in print.

As a hotel bellman my primary duties were to assist hotel guests and luggage to their rooms. I also explained hotel amenities and the location of trendy restaurants and bars.

My duties as a photo intern were to shoot images to accompany news stories. My assignments included sporting events, business features, spot news and profiles. I also filed my pictures after I edited and wrote captions for them.

My responsibility as a forest service fire fighter was to cut fire line with hand tools to suppress forest fires. As a highly trained Hotshot firefighter, I had an opportunity to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest for several fire seasons. Our crew would typically be airlifted into steep and remote wilderness for long periods of time while on fire assignments.
