This was a newly created role for UPS (in 2000) with the goal to maintain compliance with the DOT/FAA while transporting dangerous goods. I had the largest district in the US during this time. My job was to communicate, project the corporate vision, train, and reinforce compliance for 7 hub operations in the Metro Philly district. I was also had to liaison with DOT and FAA officers during audits and investigations.Prior to 2000 I held various leadership roles in the hub and airport operations.
