Since receiving the Master of Arts in Music Composition from UCLA in Spring ’88, Ron Levy has thrived in his career as an independent musical artist. Upon graduation he held for five years the position of dance accompanist/composer-in-residence at ISOMATA/Idyllwild Arts. Upon relocating to his beloved Orange County, he has enjoyed a rich career performing with many talented singers and instrumentalists, while maintaining a private teaching studio of students ranging in age from 8 to 80. He has brought his compositional, arranging and producing expertise to many recording projects, including several of his own. The various facets of Ron's professional career serve to enhance one another; he thrives on the diversity of activities and individuals he gets to work with, and they in turn attribute their success to his important contributions. Ron brings life and vitality, along with exceptional skill and insight, into every project he is involved with, whether teaching piano, recording an album, or performing for a live audience.
