I have been in a secretarial position since 2002 with the last 5 1/2 years as an Executive Assistant at a small insurance agency. I type at around 60 WPM and am 10 key touch proficient. I have basic secretary skills, such as answering the phone, faxing, preparing needed documents, etc., as well as experience in quoting and helping with the sign up process for individual and group medical insurance and Medicare supplements. I have worked with Medical Insurance companies such as BCBS, Scott & White, Mutual of Omaha, Aetna, United Healthcare, etc. Even though I have experience with insurance companies, I am not interested in becoming an insurance agent.
