Tzalash is a grassroots network of civilian staff and volunteers, including spiritual leaders, that provides ongoing culturally sensitive emotional support for IDF soldiers. Our support infrastructure is nationwide and includes relationships with army officials and commanders, partnerships with army chaplains and the army rabbinate, a host of civilian volunteers, and tens of volunteer soldiers and army wives who facilitate peer-to-peer support for their comrades and friends.
