Also played a key role in creating the QIE Certification Training programs that have been well received by the Qvera community.Actively participates in standards and healthcare interoperability organizations such as HL7, IHE and HIMSS. Regularly attends and participates as a standards implementer at various connect-a-thon, showcase and working group meeting events. The MnM Work Group oversees the FHIR Methodology and Datatypes--coordinating efforts with other Work Groups at HL7 to continue the development and advancement of the FHIR specification. Also volunteers as a track lead for the introductory Patient Track at the FHIR Connectathon events held in conjunction with each in-person working group meeting every 4 months. -

Instrumental in the creation of ClaimZone Reporter, an online claims reporting application that is used as a companion to ClaimZone Manager, with both being developed using an open source Java technology stack.Helped manage a team of 10 developers, coordinating software application maintenance and development efforts between the sales staff, the quality assurance team and the customer support team. MountainView Software was eventually acquired by Gallagher Bassett, a third party claim services provider, providing experience and exposure to large corporation requirements and practices. -
