Motivated by a personal mission to combat youth opioid addiction, I founded The Kyle Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the incidence and impact of opioid abuse among young people. Leading a committed team, I've spearheaded various awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and programs providing resources and support to affected youths and their families.

-Regularly diagnose and fix technical issues with audio and visual equipment. -Set up events such as Ph.D. defenses, fraternity events, cultural shows, corporate meetings, etc.

-Investigated the neuronal circuitry behind respiration via an animal model.-Performed regular perfusions on mice.-Surgically excised organs including the brain, and used a cryostat to create cross sections for further analysis. -Recorded data and performed analysis on breathing patterns.

-Conducted research with members of the Cambridge Genetics Department-Produced a paper on how S.N.P.s in the OPRM1 gene might cause conformational changes in the μ opioid receptor leading to increased binding affinity to fentanyl.-Found the R97S mutation to potentially lead to increased opioid sensitivity.

-Created a virtual medical library regarding common communicable diseases. -Completed 200 hours of community service towards Project Peru in Huancayo.
