Hi! My name is Rory and I am soon to be a new graduate nurse. I am very eager to learn and I always maintain a positive attitude, even during challenging circumstances. I would like to have a position in a Medical Surgical environment, but would also be open to float situations in which I would be sent to different floors and environments. I consistently demonstrate a strong sense of empathy and caring towards my patients and value patient comfort, happiness, rights, and safety above all else. I have never had any paid experience in healthcare to supplement my clinical and volunteer experience, but my labor experience has given me excellent tools in time management and problem solving in high-pressure situations. My range of volunteer activity has given me experience in skills such as compassionate and therapeutic communication with patients, as well as discipline and vigilance. I would love the opportunity to bring my skill set to your care environment while continuing to learn and grow.
