• Typically manage 16-24 committed U19 athletes each year, running the land & water sessions as well as engaging with younger year groups at the school to encourage as many as possible to try/ take up rowing and enjoy.
• 4th (1st VIII), 4th (2nd VIII), 🥉 (3rd VIII) at National Schools Regatta
• Q-Finalists at Henley Regatta (best result for Abingdon since 2014)2022
• A rebuilding year, following two heavily disrupted years of learning & progression for both 6th-form year groups

• Moved to the J15 squad to work with/ bring up a really exciting year group with lots of potential, and to instil in them the right values, positivity and discipline early on in their rowing careers

Upon starting at Abingdon, my immediate attention shifted to generating new talent and commitment towards rowing, reinvigorating the pipeline of skilful, driven athletes into the senior squad which the school had been lacking the last few years.Managed 16-20 athletes, and ran the technical model & training for two consecutive year groups.National Schools.

It was a phenomenal experience, especially considering it was part of the home Olympic Games in the UK, and to run the Torch for your country in your country was something very special.
