As the face of FirsTrust Mortgage, now Guaranteed Rate, my job was to maintain a professional, friendly, client-focused image for the company. With my primary focus on marketing and communications, I also maintained unparalleled customer service, both to our clients and business partners. Much of my marketing was through social media (via Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) for FirsTrust Mortgage, its two sister companies and corporate-sponsored weekly radio show, Life as You Own it. In my tenure, I increased social media reach by over 100%, taking our social media marketing from its infancy stage and building it "from the ground up." Additional marketing duties included email marketing via ConstantContact, print marketing through postcards, brochures and flyers, and website maintenance and marketing for two companies and our radio show. I also served as the production manager for our weekly radio show, Life as You Own it, with responsibilities in marketing, promotions, writing and recording radio commercials, coordinating local and celebrity guest appearances, videography, video editing, and affiliate relations.Throughout the course of my responsibilities, I worked closely with the CEO and upper-level management to achieve company marketing goals. I also served as the chairperson for our F.I.R.S.T. committee (community service and volunteer organization) since November, 2012 in which I've organized, oversaw and volunteered in multiple volunteer service, fundraising and charitable events.

As a Property Manager, I provided overall management of a duplex community with 50 buildings (100 units), including day-to-day operations and administration for nearly 3 years. During this time I increased occupancy to 100% for the first time since the business’ inception in 2001. I also performed thorough tenant screenings, analyzed, developed, and implemented marketing plans and strategies, assisted in the creation and implementation of company policies and procedures, created business newsletters, brochures, and other publications, oversaw and enforced compliance with lease terms, including rules and rental payments, mediated and assisted in the resolution of tenant complaints, and consistently generated and formatted reports from raw data while maintaining positive working relationships with tenants, co-workers, public officials and joint Belton Chamber of Commerce Members.
