During my intership, I worked with the Newport Fairness Commission. On completion of the research, I applied to become a member. The role requires members to work closely with the local government, proving advice and supporting decisions to ensure that they are as fair as possible.

During my final year at Swansea University I undertook a paid internship with the Head of Social Policy. Our research was focused in assessing a round of Participatory Budgeting within Newport in 2021 on behalf of Swansea University and the Newport Fairness Commission. During the internship I was responsible for a variety of research-based tasks including support in collecting and analysing interview data.
