Lead singer-songwriter, guitarist, and manager of indie garage rock band, Heavy Looks. In eight years, we've recorded two professional albums, booked and played hundreds of shows in the Midwest, opened for well-known indie artists such as Slothrust, Screaming Females, Mannequin Pussy, Tacocat, Summer Cannibals, Bad Bad Hats, Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas, The Posies, Curtis Harding, The So So Glos and more. We've played several festivals such as Riverwest FemFest, Madison FemFest (which I curated and coordinated), Horicon Music Festival, Freakfest Madison, Square Roots Festival in Chicago, Bubble Music Festival, and more.

Increased and sustained viewership on four channels aired statewide through effective and compelling promotional elements using ProTrack Broadcast Management System. Served as the primary point of contact for scheduling and delivering corporate underwriting on-air promotions to viewers. Collaborated with promotions, marketing, corporate development, and membership departments to execute best practices, marketing initiatives, and media positioning to broaden viewership and brand awareness. Contributed to accrual and growth of sustaining memberships to WPT through proficiently planning and scheduling pledge drive breaks. Served on several search and screen and event planning committees.

FemFest is a platform for femmes, trans, GNC, women, non-binary and POC, honoring the reclamation of power for those who have been historically excluded from, or not had, creative spaces.In my role as co-FemFest coordinator, my business partner, Ellie Jackson, and I booked the venue and 12 different local and regional artists/musicians to perform over two days in January 2020. All artists were paid for their performances with funds raised and donated to FemFest through community sponsors and events leading up to the main event. I recruited 17 community businesses to donate raffle prizes which totaled over $1000 in worth. We also raised over $500 for Willma's Fund, a project of the OutReach LGBT Community Center in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition, I managed and edited the website for the event, created a Spotify playlist of the 2020 artists, commissioned local artists for the art and graphic design, managed all public relations, social media, and press. We reached over 20k viewers and had 1k responses through social media, and had over 200 in-person attendees.
