We are delivering an immersive, integrated experiential Liverpool takeover in a key target international market to 600,000 visitors.

Liverpool comes alive to celebrate its food and drink revolution with a brand new festival. ‘Taste Liverpool. Drink Bordeaux’ took place from 2-5 June to coincide with the Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations. The team behind the festival, including some of the city’s best known chefs and restauranteurs, promised ‘the most delicious weekend of the year’.

I was seconded from Liverpool Vision to work on IFB2014. My role involved:• provide support to IFB Head of Marketing across online and offline channels • assist Visitor Experience Manager in delivering an outstanding and consistent experience to all IFB event organisers and delegates.• lead on brand management issues esp. use of logo, images, video etc.• manage and maintain IFB2014.com with new content and regular monitoring• ensure relevant information is disseminated to local partners in a regular and systematic way.• monitor visibility of IFB on sponsor, partner and event organiser websites.• assist in the development of social media strategy and contribute to the management of social media platforms.

My job incorporated many roles:-Sponsorship Manager: going out to meet potential sponsors to sign them up, producing and supervising contracts and payments. -Event Manager: for the sponsors’ events at the Embassy. -Business Manager: monitoring and responding to all enquiries. -Duty Manager: ensuring the smooth running of the Embassy on a daily basis.-Research: looking for appropriate opportunities and contacts to invite to the Embassy.-Networking: attending events and networking in London-Social media: managing Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook-Online: managing the website

Shanghai City, China

I was seconded from Liverpool Vision to work on the Liverpool at World Expo Shanghai project, which involved me working out in Shanghai for 4 months. My role incorporated many various roles:-Training Manager: training and monitoring the front line staff who arrived every 23 days.-Staff liaison: being the point of contact during their time in Shanghai, looking after the team's welfare, especially helping them acclimatise and be happy whilst working away from home. -Sponsorship Manager: pre event - meeting potential sponsors to sign them up, producing and supervising contracts and payments. -Sponsors Liaison: looking after the sponsors who attended Expo, being on call 24 hours. -Event Manager: for the sponsors’ events at the pavilion. -Business Manager: monitoring and responding to all enquiries made at the Business Desk. -Merchandise Sales: ensuring all items sold out, balancing sales, and cashing up.-Ticketing: buying and managing Liverpool Expo tickets.-Pavilion Duty Manager: ensuring the smooth running of the pavilion on a daily basis, managing 20 Chinese students who volunteers to work on our stand, dealing with all the tech, daily reporting back home.
