I am a Biomedical Engineering Undergrad student whose life goal is to impact society through science & technology while promoting diversity & inclusion in the sciences. My current work involves working with mathematical models and the characterization of mitochondria morphology in endothelial cells experiencing fluidic shear stresses that could impact Mitochondrial Network Dynamics, this project has been under the supervision of my technical advisor in the Jurney Lab at SJSU.I also worked in developing new capabilities in additive manufacturing by exploring applications such as 3D-printed Microneedles for Vaccine Delivery or/and health monitoring systems this summer in the DeSimone lab at Stanford University. I was a research lead on the Silicone Phantom Test Section for the Mechanical Heart Valve Project at San Jose State University in Bellofiore's Cardio lab. On the side, I work as a Research Learning Assistant investigating the Equity Ethics of Engineering Students in collaboration with the Physics Department at SJSU.
