- Studied the effects of Sedoheptulose-1, 7-bisphosphatase overexpression in wheat plants and pyruvate, phosphate dikinase overexpression in sugarcane plants- Completed protein extraction and isolation, ELISA assay protocols, assisted in Western blot assays, chemical manipulation of buffers and plant tissue, enzyme analysis, gene expression analysis, and RNA extraction- Completed routine maintenance and care of the specimen plants and oversaw their harvest and preparation for experimental purposes, oversaw and regulated confounding factors such as controlling for cross-pollination

Co-founded and started a tutoring program within the New American Welcome Center that tutored children aged K-12 in the local Urbana-Champaign areaWorked closely with community program coordinators to create and present a cultural humility training, which eventually became a required training for EDUC 201 students participating in our program.
