Family Readiness Support Assistant
CurrentServes as the Family Readiness Support Assistant (FRSA) in the brigade and adviser to the brigade commander and command team for a multi-functional brigade of over 2,300 Soldiers and their Families. Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the commander and volunteers. Utilizes an in-depth practical knowledge related to a wide range of clerical and administrative duties Family Readiness Program requirements, issues, services, and policies. Knowledge of community and social service agencies and resources is required as they relate to the functions of the office. Provides assistance, information, referral and follow-up on all areas of Family Programs. Assist with separation from military sponsor due to mobilization/deployment and training efforts, or other duty requirements. Demonstrates sensitivity to the diverse needs of mobilized or deployed Soldiers and Family Members. Contributes to combat readiness by promoting efficient and effective communication between the Command, FRG, community resources and Family members.
