The CFE Fund’s mission is to leverage municipal engagement to improve the financial stability of low and moderate income households by embedding financial empowerment strategies into local government infrastructure. At CFE, I work with local governments and their nonprofit partners to design and launch Financial Empowerment Centers - no-cost, 1x1 financial counseling programs offered as a public service. I do this by providing 1x1 technical assistance to local governments, managing pilot programmatic integrations, and supporting research efforts to build data-driven programs. Matter + Form is a financial consulting firm serving the unique needs of mission-driven organizations. They provide business planning, strategic finance, risk management, and financial turnaround services for foundations, non-profits, and for-profit organizations to accelerate and strengthen the impact of their work.

The Governance Lab is a research lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering whose goal is to strengthen the ability of institutions – including but not limited to governments – and people to work more openly, collaboratively, effectively and legitimately to make better decisions and solve public problems. At The GovLab I provided support for the CrowdLaw initiative, which is focused on on promoting effective public engagement in law and policymaking.

Confluence Philanthropy advances mission aligned investing by supporting and catalyzing a community of private, public and community foundations, families, individual donors, and their values-aligned investment advisors. As part of a 4 person team consisting of NYU Wagner graduate students, I conducted a Membership assessment to provide recommendations to inform the organization’s programmatic activities, membership composition, and future growth strategy.

Ashoka builds and cultivates a community of change leaders who see that the world now requires everyone to be a changemaker. They collaborate to transform institutions and cultures worldwide to support changemaking for the good of society. As part of a 5-person team comprised of NYU Wagner and NYU Stern graduate students, I completed market research and analysis on how to competitively market a potential new business venture to funders.

NYCHA provides affordable housing and social services to low-to-moderate income New Yorkers. At NYCHA, I assisted with business improvement projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of various procedures and processes.

Reboot is a social impact firm dedicated to inclusive development and accountable governance. They help governments, foundations, and international organizations achieve their missions. As a business operations intern, I worked on larger operations projects aimed at improving the efficiency of the office as well as supported various HR functions.

J-PAL is an economic research lab based at MIT whose mission is to ensure public policy is informed by rigorous scientific evidence. During my time at J-PAL, I worked in various capacities related to grants management, tracking research subawards, budgeting and financial analysis, knowledge management development, human resources and people management, event planning, and miscellaneous administration and financial work.

First as a co-op, and later as a part-time employee for the Long-Term Care department, I supported the Operations team in processing insurance claims, HIPAAs, and Power of Attorneys, routing work to other team members, and producing productivity reports for the Metrics and Analysis team.

During my co-op for CSI, I coordinated the execution of legal contracts for events hosted by Northeastern's 120+ student organizations. I worked closely with CSI staff, student affairs, accounts payable, and Northeastern's legal team to ensure student events ran as smoothly as possible.

As a co-op in the Audiology clinic, I supported 30+ Audiologists and hundreds of patients by making medical appointments, checking patients into their appointments, obtaining insurance referrals, ensuring hospital and medical compliance, and excellent providing customer service to everyone who passed through the clinic.
