About David Rosenblatt
I am a storyteller, a creative, a leader, an entrepreneur, and a person interested in growing, moving, and improving myself. In my spare time, I like to do anything that involves moving around and getting outside. I am an avid mountain biker, snowboarder, and beer enthusiast. When the Pandemic hit, I found myself at home with a canceled advertising internship. I decided to take matters into my own hands and to start a digital marketing and video production company while in my last year of McGill. My experience starting and growing this company taught me how to pitch and sell clients; how to effectively manage teams, project timelines, and budgets; how to create and concept videos from start to finish; how to ideate and think creatively while still maintaining an on-brand aesthetic and tone; and the intricacies of business operations and development. Now that I have graduated from university, I hope to leverage my unique background and experience to bring value to a larger organization. I believe that I can contribute from the get-go and I am energized and eager to join a team that can utilize my skills. If you're interested in grabbing a coffee, getting on a phone call, or chatting about opportunities in video, advertising, branding, or other related fields, I would love to connect.
Listed skills include Leadership And Intiative, Digital Marketing, Filming And Video Editing, Extroverted And Social, and 3 others.

Social Media Marketing And A&R (Internship)
I was given the opportunity to work with SKIO Music as a university student and the work they did there blew my mind. I found myself in a position where I was mentored and taught about the marketing landscape of e-commerce, digital startups, and was shown how to create real impact through the use of social media, reporting, and dashboards. After my onboarding, I was trusted to fully run and copy write all variations and versions of the Facebook Ad campaigns we ran for the Remix contests hosted by SKIO. I was also responsible for curating all the content on the social media posts and tapping into the needs and pain points of our consumers. Another really enjoyable part of the work I did at SKIO was when I was given the opportunity to act as an interim A&R. I was trusted as one of the judges of the Remix Contests and was tasked with selecting the highest quality tracks from thousands of submissions. The most powerful component of my experience was the hands-on learning that I gained regarding ad campaign management. I was taught how to create and optimize campaigns. I learned how to monitor them and how to select the highest performers and reallocate the budget towards those variations. Specifically I: - Worked closely with the founders to optimize and grow social media engagement and reach- Wrote & ran Facebook ad campaigns- Optimized Facebook ads for maximum conversion rates- Created and optimized audiences for each social media campaign - Created and managed 8+ Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns- Ran split (A/B) tests on ad campaigns and social media content- Created a system for A/B testing and ad management - Guidelines to determine whether to boost, reduce or cut posts from the marketing portfolio- Curated & Wrote Instagram and Facebook content- Boosted Instagram engagement by 55%- Judged remix contests
Cashier, Retail Sales Associate, And Stock Associate
I began my time at Browns as a stock room assistant. I learned how to stay organized, work hard, and collaborate with my team and put their needs above my own. I stayed on top of the styles and was sure to learn from the sales team as I wanted to move into that position. The next summer I began working as a cashier and sales associate, helping to educate clients on our different brands, the different shoe styles, and to help order the style and size they wanted if it was out of stock in our location. I again learnt how to collaborate with a team and how to put the customer's needs over my own. This job taught me how to work hard and ignighted my passions for fashion and retail.
Retail Sales Associate
In this role, I acted as a part-time sales associate. I was responsible for staying on top of all fashion trends and educating clients on the quality of materials, fit, and style. I prided myself on my ability to help clients curate outfits and wardrobe additions within their desired price points.
