▪ Prepare instrument technical specifications and data sheets (Pressure gauge, Pressure transmitter, Pressure differential, Temperature gauge, Temperature transmitter, Level Gauge, Control Valve, Choke Valve, Pressure Relief Valve), including sizing calculation for instrument items. ▪ Prepare E&I project documentations (material & service requisition) of instruments, bulk items, system (DCS/SIS) for inquiry/purchase order. ▪ Familiarize and assist with the preparation of the instrumentation design drawings, Instrument Loop Diagram, Instrument Location Plans, Instruments Installation and Hook-ups Details, Cable Block Diagrams, Instrument Master Schedule, Input Output Schedule, Instrument Installation Schedule, and Material Take-off. ▪ Check, review, comment and approve vendor drawings/documents as well interface with vendor on technical matters to assure compliance with project specifications, standard, and project schedules. ▪ Perform Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for instrument, bulk items and system along with preparation of TBE report. ▪ Expediate and prepare site visit checklist for E&I activities together with providing support for site survey. ▪ Provide site support to the CPE team & field engineers during construction for material up-load and any design changes. ▪ Familiarize with Exxon standard codes (GPs,MPDS,GS,LA) along with engineering codes and standards.▪Involve in System FAT (DCS & SDS) for system upgrade or modification project

Prepare instrument database (Instrument Index, DCS I/O Schedule, IPS I/O Schedule, ATSL, FGS Schedule). ▪ Prepare instrument datasheets and specifications (Control Valves, Choke Valves, Motor Operated Valve (MOV), Restriction Orifice, Temperature Transmitter, Pressure Transmitter and Gauges). ▪ Perform instrument sizing (Thermowell calculation (WIKA), choke valve sizing (MASTERFLO), orifice sizing (FLOWEL), Control Valve (FISHER)) as per project requirement. ▪ Prepare FGS datasheet (Open Path Gas Detector, Flame Detector, Manual Pushbutton) Prepare level sketches and level calculations for level instruments along with technical report (Power Consumption Report, Air/Hydraulic Consumption report) based on project requirement. ▪ Assist designers in the preparation of instrument drawings (layouts, installation details, wiring, hook-up diagrams) ▪ Interface in the preparation of the P&IDs, Utility flow diagrams and cause and effect matrix by checking vessel I.D checks, providing instrument number on P&IDs.
