Working within the Reagents group on multiple assays developing and performing In process tests such as micro BCAs, IgGs, FAB binding assays and many more. Instruments trained to use; Attune Flow Cytometry, Waters UPLC, Zetasizers, Nanosight, AKTAs alongside general balance, fume hood and chemical use. Day to day role includes; performing IPTs, consulting with senior scientists on experiment design, performing depositions, preparing and altering buffers to meet demands of ongoing projects and training and guidance of new starts in procedures. • Accountable for the delivery, scheduling, design, planning and analysis of multiple experiments in line with project timelines.Technical points:• Report and present outcome of experiments and recommend next steps.• Deliver technical solutions to complex problems identified during the course of experiments.• Propose experiments to progress delivery of key areas of projects.• Propose experiments that lead to efficient integration of reagents within the strip and meter to enhance and optimise assay performance.• Understand cost implications of experiments under your control.

Working at the forefront of IVD industry working on delivering effective point of care to patients. Currently working on both instrumentation and immunoassay quality control working a 24/7 2,3,2 pattern. As Part of the product assurance team I was responsible for the routine testing and analysis of raw materials, development batches and manufacturing batches according to defined procedures both in the laboratory and at clinics to support product validation, release and post market surveillance.Primarily on the Immunoassay side I ensure quality on many immunoassays including Covid-19(Antigen and Antibody), to INR to D-Dimer.

First Job in Pharma! I had the amazing opportunity to build on my knowledge of HPLC and other analytical techniques obtained from university and also learn about pharmacopeia. Whilst also working on Clinical projects that have received FDA approval whilst I was working there.I worked in analytical labs and cleanrooms where I performed sampling procedures and testing of Category 2 Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API). Extensive use of pharmacopeia (EP,USP,(occasional JP)) and in house specifications and testing to ensure cleanliness and product quality.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the restaurant was forced to close. As such I reprised my role as a front end customer assistant whilst undertaking additional responsibilities as a hygiene colleague which at the time entailed; ensuring the cleanliness of the front end department from Trollies through to checkouts.As a Front of House Colleague at Tesco, I was responsible for providing excellent customer service to our valued customers. I greeted customers, answered their queries, and helped them with their shopping requirements. The primary objective will be to ensure that our customers have a pleasant and hassle-free shopping experience.

My role was quite varied day to day from completing preparation shifts to assuring quality through temperature checks and following of Standard operating procedures to leading the kitchen on a busy weekend shift even jumping into different positions in the kitchen when required. As a Line Chef, I was responsible for preparing high-quality food items and ensuring that they are served to customers in a timely and efficient manner. I worked closely with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure that our customers receive the best dining experience possible.I could be found training new staff to follow health and food safety hygiene standards as well as the company standard way of preparing dishes.

Assisted the project coordinator through phoning clients and various business contacts and organising site visits for engineers whilst finding floor plans and any existing documentation that could assist the engineer before or whilst they are on site.This often including ensuring site contact details were correct and that the all information provided matched our database.
