I love to help people and have found that the UX/UI field is all about helping others. Whether it is creating a life changing app or making small improvements on an existing product, interaction design can help make meaningful changes in people’s lives.Through the use of goal-directed, and user-centered design, I aim to improve the lives of all those around me. Customers and coworkers alike can benefit from the skills I can provide.Moderating user interviews is my favorite aspect of researching for interaction design. Having meaningful conversations with people opens your mind to different perspectives, and while this sounds like it came from a cheesy Facebook post, these different perspectives allow me to come up with creative solutions that I didn't know were possible.Working in a team is crucial to good design. Again, multiple perspectives lead to solutions one person couldn't find on their own. Also, it is a fun experience to collaborate in design teams during affinity mapping, user testing, and discussing the meaning behind data during the synthesizing process. Outside of the design field, you can find me on the nearest Disc Golf course or hiking trail. I love the outdoors and find it a good place to relax my mind after all of that critical thinking.
