Hi, I am Ross Coull, the founder and CEO of Skye Renewables, a solar development company in Southeast Asia.Before Skye, my day job was primarily in private equity, investing in high quality companies in Europe and emerging markets. This included CDC Group (now called British International Investment (“BII”)), the UK’s Development Finance Institution, where I learned about sustainability-focussed investments.In parallel, my passion for entrepreneurship took me on a hunt around the world for something exciting. In 2010, some friends and I landed in India and partnered with BBLUNT, a well known hair salon and beauty company, helping turn it into one of the leading salon brands in the country. The idea of Skye Renewables first came up when I relocated to Singapore and wanted to build a company that is at the centre of the energy transition.
