AboutMy career can be summarised into two themes: identifying emerging opportunities and assisting organisations solve problems and communicating their proposition. My background: In the late 1990s, the world was fixated on the Japanese economic miracle. I had a hunch that the next big opportunity might be Greater China. In retrospect, it sounds obvious but not at the time. I did an Asian Studies degree and headed to Taiwan to learn Mandarin.I spent a decade in Hong Kong, working across Asia and Australia, immersed in marketing and communications, and honing a collaborative approach to client relationship management. I came to understand the primacy of collaboration is starting and ending with a focus on understanding someone’s issues and goals, then identifying the best-fit solution.During that period, I worked with numerous global brands in the industrial, corporate, construction, and finance industries, as well as many emerging technology innovators that transformed into world leaders.I then joined US industrial technology company Trimble, a leader in applying innovative technology to a wide range of industries; civil, building and construction, geospatial, natural resources, agriculture, and government.More recently I have been residing in Australia and endeavouring to do the same thing – help those who are interested to articulate their proposition and grow their businesses.
