Helped build leading consultancy for tech and dot.com-clients during the Internet boom. Won “Best Technology PR Campaign” Asia PR News Awards 2000, with campaign for Asiatech Ventures. Key role in developing and executing innovative public affairs campaign for 2000 member Hong Kong Airline Officers Association (Cathay Pacific pilots' union). Resulted in an intransigent airline management agreeing to renew dialogue, negotiate with union and eventually rehire or compensate sacked pilots. Strategy included a lobbying campaign targeting allies and sympathizers, including NGO’s, foreign governments and some of the largest trade unions in the USA and Europe. Results included a United Nations’ International Labour Organisation investigation into Hong Kong’s labour practices and employee protection laws. Other client work included all communications to assist SG with three rounds of restructuring, staff dismissals and closure of equities business in Asia.
