The Lead Project Engineer overseeing a team of Project Engineers responsible for the FEED, detailed design, procurement, expediting, execution, quality control, commissioning and handover of all restart, ramp up and sustaining capital projects at the New Century Hydraulic Mine and Concentrator worth over $49m. The successful execution of these projects has been instrumental in increasing the operations reliability, efficiency and production allowing New Century Resources to operate profitably and sustainably.

Responsible for the project management of the Concentrator Structural Remediation project and assistance with reliability and maintenance activities. Reporting to the Reliability and Planning Superintendent completing engineering and project tasks.

Part of a Team responsible for the rotating and static mechanical equipment construction scope followed by rectification of warranty issues post commissioning for Train 1, Train 2 and the Domestic Gas Plant. Duties included managing a team of Mechanical Engineers, providing technical support and ensuring the quality of the mechanical equipment installations. Also played a lead role in gaining the approval (HAZID, SWMS and contract development) and use of rope access techniques for the installation of vessel internals, a first for a Bechtel LNG project in Australia. Responsibilities include: Installation, inspection and compliance of the ConocoPhilips Optimised Cascade Process vessels, exchangers and Cold Boxes Setting the ISBL modules and Cold Boxes  Pump installations and alignments Compressor, bearing and dry gas seal installations and alignments Air cooled heat exchanger fan blade and belt alignments Pressure Vessel internals installations Vessel repairs in accordance with ASME Section VIII and NBIC requirements Vessel inspection, compliance and registration with WorkSafe Western Australia IRATA Rope Access Inspections  Warranty Defect Rectifications (Methane Compressor Skid Structural Resonance, Propane Suction Drum Internals Failure, Fin Fan Failure, Turboexpander Vibrations and Run Down Tank Design)

Responsible for the rotating and static mechanical equipment construction scope at the Ruby Jo (440 mmscfd) and Woleebee Creek (660 mmscfd) gas dehydration and compression plants. Responsibilities included: Installation of five Siemens 25 MW electric motor driven two stage compressor trains and their lube oil, variable speed drive and water cooling packages Instrument air, plant air and nitrogen generation packages installation and commissioning Triethylene glycol gas dehydration and regeneration packages installation  Vessel inspections and compliance
