Within my IT Developer role at John Henry Group, my primary day-to-day responsibilities were directly related to the creation and upkeep of Power BI content hosted within the Power BI service, within Microsoft Fabric.As part of these core responsibilities, I undertook a large amount of investigational work to ensure that new BI solutions delivered are produced in a robust and sustainable way. This work often included streamlining, adapting and improving existing reporting processes within the business with the goal of improving accuracy, reliability and reducing time spent on manual data transformation.In addition to my work surrounding Power BI, I continued to be a point of escalation for sensitive and complex IT issues such as subject access requests, IT compliance actions and incident response.

During my role as an IT Technician, I continued to provide primarily first and second line IT support, with some third line responsibilities, as the primary focus of my role.In addition to this, I was tasked with undertaking regular compliance auditing duties, along with corrective actions where appropriate, to ensure the digital infrastructure of the business remained secure. To aide in this task, I produced a number of scripts that would generate exports used for identifying issues such as non-compliant user accounts / devices, abnormal activity, and more.

During my role as an IT Apprentice, I spent a lot of time learning how to apply the knowledge I had gained from my studies both past and present, in a real-world environment.Within this role I provided primarily first and second line IT support to staff members and subcontractors working with John Henry Group.
