During the initial role out of the COVID-19 vaccine I took a role administering vaccines to the public. It provided a rare opportunity to develop my clinical skills during the first year of medical school.

This role was to gain work experience in a healthcare setting, prior to studying medicine. The company provides domiciliary home care for clients with varying degrees of need.

To support myself while deciding what to retrain in I founded a private teaching practice in Brighton. This small business enabled me to employ much of the skillset I had accrued to date, due to the varied nature of the work.In addition, I established, managed & promoted a popular band playing concerts throughout the UK. This involved writing copy for press releases communicating through various media channels including social networking sites, newspapers and venue promotions.

Bluesky Interactive Ltd is a digital marketing agency, targeting the automotive industry. My role was created due to a change in strategy for the company, who began chasing business from vehicle manufacturers.As the key account manager for the two largest accounts, I was comfortable corresponding with the HQs of both companies - I built close relationships with the executive teams of both KIA UK and JCT600, as well as over 200 individual dealerships, many of which I visited throughout the year.I began training in web development also - this was in an official capacity in the role, as well as in my spare time. I left the company to further concentrate on training in this area.

The Coco Press was an e-commerce and manufacturing startup, trading in the natural cosmetics niche. In just over 5 months, through leveraging of mainstream marketing channels, I helped the company secure a contract to supply Urban Outfitters with two flagship product ranges. As capacity grew, I outsourced production to several third parties, and was able to capitalise on the economies of scale that this offered.Founding the company gave me the opportunity to understand deeply, the plight of the startup from a management standpoint.
