Extensive operational experience as a Navigator and Tactical Officer in the Long Range Patrol community, is a qualified aerospace systems flight test engineer and was the Commander of Systems Flight Test at the Canadian national Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment for four years. As such, he was the Program Director and Airworthiness Authority for all systems flight test programs for every aircraft type in the Canadian Forces, responsible for some 20-40 projects a year ranging up to $70M. Extensive training and education experience as an instructor, instructor supervisor and in syllabus and curriculum development.
