I am responsible for the overall running/governing of the boxing team, which is the biggest sports team consisting of over 200 individuals at Leeds Metropolitan University. I was in control of the facility management to cater for all participants, gym memberships, selection of athletes to participate for the university, delegating of committee members (coaches, 2x social secretary's, treasurer), transport for all athletes, contact point for all students interested in joining the team, coaching… Show more I am responsible for the overall running/governing of the boxing team, which is the biggest sports team consisting of over 200 individuals at Leeds Metropolitan University. I communicate with the team on a regular basis using a variety of communication pathways to ensure all separate projects were running on time. The most beneficial and enjoyable experience I have ever had in my life. This position improved my attention to detail, communication, teamwork, determination and commitment to complete basic training. Whilst in the navy I was made sports representative of my division, selecting the sports teams to play against other divisions. I then decided to study for A levels and a Degree in order to strengthen my position.
