Responsible for compiling a series of reports authored by committees within the department into a single IT Strategic Plan that is aligned with the University's Campus Wide Plan.

In this project I worked with two other students to first create a plan to improve the Project Portfolio Management practices of UMass Amherst IT. Our team first focused on drafting a letter of engagement and plan detailed with milestones and final goals. The current plan is to first assess the current state of UMass Amherst IT's current state of Project Portfolio management. Upon collecting this data and analyzing it our group will conduct research. Research methods will include networking with professionals, reading project management literature, and experimentation with various project management software programs. After the research and data collection is completed the group members will compare their various findings in order to create a comprehensive plan advising UMass Amherst IT on how to improve its project portfolio management practices.
