Representative Experience:-Advised insurer concerning rights and responsibilities involving mortgage bankers and mortgage brokers professional liability insurance policies, including issues concerning misrepresentations during application process, non-compliance with reporting requirements, and whether particular claims and suits are covered.-Authored amicus curiae brief on issues of advertising injury liability coverage and exhaustion of underlying insurance for excess liability insurer in $50,000,000 coverage lawsuit brought by global technology company.-Represented business client in multifaceted litigation against broker and carriers concerning multiple policies of employment practices liability insurance.-Obtained summary judgment affirming validity of insurer's cancelation of commercial property policy despite insured's claim that the notices had been sent to the wrong address and were supposedly never received.-Represented insurer in connection with several errors and omissions claims and related arbitration proceedings against its insurance agents.-Represented umbrella liability insurer in coverage litigation against insured. Handled and won bench trial, obtaining judgment exceeding $1,000,000.-Successfully defended against employment practices liability insurer's attempt to set aside default and default judgment against its bankrupt insured, leading to multi-million dollar settlement with insurer.
