Keep Up The God Work is a Facebook Group I started in 2012 to supply uplifting thoughts, inspiration, and prayers for anyone in need or interested. This group has grown to 490 members.

Vice-President Sales and Marketing/Co-Founder ABA Jacksonville Giants (Semi-Pro) Basketball TeamJuly 2010, Ron Sholes (Owner), Kevin Waters (Head Coach and General Manager), and Joe started Jacksonville's ABA basketball team. Joe named the team the Giants September 2010 and designed the logo soon thereafter. His son, Richard Miller (Miller on Sports), was the team Play by Play announcer on radio and television Giants Season One, Season Two, and Season Three. Three-Time ABA National Champions - The Giants have won the 2012, the 2013, and the 2015 ABA National Basketball Championships, In 2012 NBA Star Christian Laettner played for the Giants and was actually involved in a last second game-winning buzzer beater. Also in 2012, the Giants established the World Record "Most Points Scored in a Basketball Game (211 points) which was reported in Sports Illustrated. The Giants beat this record in 2014 after scoring 222 points. The team is most proud of its dedication to the community and schools. For the past four years it has performed more hours of community service than any other Jacksonville-based professional sports team. In June 2014, the President of the ABA awarded the Giants the 2014 ABA National Charity Award for its stellar record of giving back to the community. In 2010, Joe invited former Duke Standout, NBA Star, and Dream Team player Christian Laettner to assist the "BIGS"​ (over 6'7"​ players) on the team. In 2011, Joe asked Laettner to play five games as a Giant. He was happy to oblige. Today Laettner invites Giants players to work on his camps and signs basketballs for Giants events which are held for charitable organizations. In addition, Laettner joined Joe's son as a Color Analyst on television. Richard Miller is currently the Voice of the UNF Ospreys. He is currently calling the 2015 season of UNF Women's Volleyball on television airing on ESPN3. Richard has been a radio sports talk host and television sports play by play host in the Jacksonville, Florida, North Florida market for over nine years. Since October 2014, Richard has been the Voice of the University of North Florida Ospreys and most recently called the 2015 Play by Play for the UNF vs Robert Morris NCAA men's basketball tournament. 2014-15 was the most successful season for UNF Men's Basketball in the school history. Unity Plaza is the newest non-profit venue in Jacksonville, Florida. When completed it will have one major (Award Winning Chef) restaurant, a gathering (unique format) restaurant titled HOB KNOB, and a "watering hole"​ / restaurant. It combines a wellness center with a one-of-a-kind performance venue, a walking path around a 1/3 acre pond, and other carts and one more smaller (meeting place) outdoor restaurant. Unity Plaza will bring together over 100 of Jacksonville's top non-profits and provide hard to duplicate support services for outdoor events helping these charities to raise more money. This non-profit is the brainchild of area visionary and President of Hallmark Partners, Alex Coley.Unity Plaza is located at 220 Riverside in a new area known as Brooklyn. Within one block of this area is the Jacksonville Riverfront and the Jacksonville Northbank Riverwalk, a soon-to-be-completed state-of-the-art YMCA, a Corner Bakery, Zoes, Burger FI, and two other unique restaurants. This venue sits at the "Entrance to Jacksonville" where drivers will exit I-95 and I-10 to visit Jacksonville, Florida. One of the largest Arts Markets in the world is located four blocks away which is open every Saturday.

The Jacksonville Observer was a short-lived online news and information site on the web. I created dozens of stories regarding the history of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as stories regarding the New Duval County Courthouse which I was photographing during its construction.The history stories "Simpler Times in Jacksonville, Florida"​ and "Headstones- Who's Who" were combined into a book sold in local bookstores and is currently out of print.Latest projectCurrently sifting through over 10,000 construction photographs of the New Duval County Courthouse in order to create a large photo history book of its creation including a history of the courthouses of Jacksonville, Florida.

Between 1998 and 1999, I developed the first area speech regarding the Internet titled "From Rice Paper to the Internet." This program discussed the history of the written word and communication as a whole to the development of the Internet. The Internet was young and few businessmen and women knew what it could do for their business. The end of the program included a look into what the Internet might evolve into by 2015. The program originally started as a thirty minute program and with incredible interest became a full hour. I spoke regularly at area Rotary Clubs and Jacksonville-based companies. This resulted in my becoming an Adviser to area businesses and my creating many of the domain names and websites for these businesses which are still used today.

Created the largest medical and legal system company in Jacksonville, Florida. Installed the first network legal system in Jacksonville, Florida, for the city's largest firm, Smith Hulsey. Assisted business professionals with decisions regarding the support and implementation of high level computer systems. Managed all systems for the largest medical clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Managed all systems for the largest radiology firm in Florida. Managed all systems for the three largest privately-held insurance companies in Jacksonville, Florida. Helped to establish one of the largest Personal Injury firms in Florida.

Managed the small systems team that installed, maintained, and supported nearly 350 personal computers, laptops, printers and other small systems. Created standards for and selected the individual software packages and hardware to support each department of the hospital. Created the first stand-alone micro computer business application to manage the LIFE FLIGHT emergency trauma helicopter services. Selected, maintained, operated the first project management system for the hospital which was used to oversee the installation of a completely "new" hospital billing system.

AS400 - RPG IIIResponsible for overseeing the analysis and implementation of medical software used to run the hospital. Assisted in the marketing and promotion of the FOR PROFIT medical systems sold to 13 hospitals in the U.S. Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the payroll system which supported nearly 1500 employees. Responsible for the analysis, design, and programming of a hospital-wide physician monitoring application used to monitor the oversight of physicians and the completion of medical record charts. Responsible for the analysis, design, and programming of a specialized surgical system. Responsible for the analysis, design, and programming of the LIFE FLIGHT system necessary for the first Trauma Helicopter in the city.

Responsible for managing and supporting the medical software systems for the largest Family Practice Residency Program in Florida. Responsible for analyzing, creating the needs analysis, evaluating, and selecting the medical software (US DATA aka US MEDICAL) used to support the nearly 80 individual medical practices whose physicians practiced at Tallahassee Regional Medical Center. Responsible for managing, installing, and supporting those 80 medical systems. Assisted and consulted with US DATA to improve and upgrade its start-up company helping it to grow into the Southeast Regions largest medical solution software company.
