Bob Tompkins has been building companies and growing great teams for over 30 years. He has truly become an Executive Operations Specialist after founding and growing two scientifically-driven organizations nationwide in the unrelated fields of energy service (oil/gas) & environmental laboratories for his first 22 years after receiving a Ph.D. from Texas A&M.While P&L driven, Bob has found that it is the “behind the scenes” actions with personnel that it takes to build great companies and who has a unique ability to lead and motivate the people around him. His skills were honed in the real world from start ups to high tech companies. His experiences include national/international organizations, dealing with government entities such as the EPA/FDA, building successful teams, and managing the every aspects of day to day business on large scales. He has worked and resided in Europe, North America, Australia and Dubai.As a C-level advisor, Bob has spent the last 10 years either as a COO himself or working directly with Executive Leaders (CEO’s, Presidents, Partners, etc.) as “acting” CEO, COO, CFO or Business Partner with a multitude of different assignments and tasks to increase shareholder value. Being able to add to a team in any “C-level” capacity is a strong suit and past experiences make Bob a wealth of information and practical knowledge for troubleshooting almost anything. From chemistry to creating the conditions to sky rocket profitability, Bob is a well rounded individual always looking for a challenge.
