I successfully completed syndication of a total of US$ 5 billion corporate syndicated loans, buy-out and acquisition financings in Northern Europe as well as project financings in the telecom, power and shipping sectors in Southern and Eastern Europe. During my time with the team Citibank was the undisputed leader in the European Syndicated Loan League tables.I also worked on the successful issuance of US$ 500 million floating rate and convertible Eurobonds, performance linked notes, repackaged bonds, credit card receivables and other asset backed securities. I structured the first even South African convertible bond which was issued by Investec Investment Bank.

I was a member of the Brussels based Equity Structuring and Specialised Leasing ("ESSL") team which devised tax efficient financing and investment structures.My role included marketing, structuring and executing tax leases, tax efficient funding schemes, high yielding investment structures, and tailored tax based products to blue chip corporate clients and key High Net Worth clients .As a fresh graduate and within the first year of working with the team, I became the youngest member to single handedly close her first major Cross Border transaction, a Delaware (US) - Belgium USD 30 million tax efficient investment scheme for a major Belgian sugar refinery.
