I am a consultant and trainer for Vulcan Training and an assessor and investigator for Vulcan Wildfire Management. My experience in community safety and security extends to living in harmony with our environment, and as a student of fire, I relish in seeking proactive solutions and providing training to rural and urban communities and businesses within the Wildland Urban Interface to become #WildfireReady. I believe that preparation is key.I have a Graduate Certificate in Fire and Explosion Investigation from Charles Sturt University, Australia, where I received the Executive Dean's Award for outstanding academic achievement in 2021, and specialise in Wildland Fire Investigations.I always attempt to bring my passion and attention to detail to my business life, as well as in my spare time, volunteering as a wildland firefighter and Single Resource Leader within the Volunteer Wildfire Services around the Western Cape of South Africa for the past 10 years.I regularly present information talks and demonstrations on wildland firefighting and wildfire safety to schools, communities, landowners and firefighters, in an effort to share knowledge to allow people to live safer in the beauty of their surroundings.I have previously been in the entertainment, service and marketing industries as a business owner and international entertainer who took pride in always ensuring my national and international clients experienced the best of Cape Town, here and around the world.
