I am an Associate Attorney with Klamp & Associates and a member of the DC Bar. I earned my JD with honors from the American University's Washington College of Law. While in law school I was on the executive board of the American University Law Review and the International Trade and Investment Law Society.As an Associate Attorney at Klamp & Associates, I serve as outside general counsel for charitable and other tax-exempt organizations (domestic and international). I assist clients with issues ranging from formation, obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status, and corporate governance, with a particular focus on compliance with employment, sanctions and anti-terrorist financing, data privacy and technology (including cryptocurrency) and anti-corruption laws. For the past few years, I have given presentations to executive committees and boards of directors at several nonprofits and at USAID about the duty of care they owe their overseas staff. When I am not working, my hobbies include reading about corporate scandals and science-fiction, painting, knitting, NFL and Formula 1.
