Creating Test Plans for titles which includes test suit design, estimating of test costs and resource estimation.Vetting bugs entered by the testers to ensure they have the correct information and relevant detail.Analysing bug metrics and identifying trends to influence testing.Performing risk management throughout the title lifecycle and planning for mitigations when necessary.Liaising daily with Producers and development team via telephone and email.Working closely with other departments to ensure the title is fully tested and provide updates on testing when necessary.Responding to Developer requests when necessary.Compose various reports to Producers and Supervisors which include progress reports, monthly test cost projections, daily handover reports and custom made reports on request.Chairing and participating in conference calls with Producers, Supervisors and global counterparts. Working to tight deadlines ensuring that the title is released on time sometimes working under pressure.Working towards FY departmental objectives and KPI’s set by managers. Contributing to test process improvement by improving existing process or creating new ones Helping to develop staff by leading by example, mentoring and monitoring testers, holding monthly one to ones and twice yearly appraisals and providing feedback on request.Ad-Hoc duties set by superiors.
