Technical Program Manager for the Military Health Systems (MHS), Enterprise Infrastructure (EI), Chief of Infrastructure Engineering. Provide management and oversight for five teams, 18 project managers, within the Engineering Division (Customer Relations Management, Development Test Center (DTC), Integrated Master Schedule, System Design and Development [SDD] and Enterprise Virtualization). Responsible for all projects within the SDD life-cycle phase; oversee system and product life-cycle management according to ITIL foundation principles and guidelines. Coordinate, capture, and define the scope of product and service requirements for new initiatives. Work closely with the engineers to ensure all initiatives that affect the MHS infrastructure align with the goals and vision of EI. Manage and lead the SDD Integrated Product Team meetings and deliverables. Supervise and oversee major projects and programs within Infrastructure Engineering; Customer Relations Management, DTC, Integrated Master Schedule, SDD, Enterprise Virtualization, Clinical Data Repository modernization, Wireless LAN, JANUS Enterprise, Service Oriented Architecture/Enterprise Service Bus, Defense Health Agency email transition, Enterprise Remote Access transition to Application Virtualization Hosting Environment, Continuity of Operations, and others. Assist in creating leadership briefings for the MHS Office of the Chief Information Officer and Chief Technical Officer to include Quarterly Internal Program Reviews, Critical Project Reviews and updates, and miscellaneous priority briefings. Work with individual project managers to prepare them for the various IPT meetings; review draft briefings, provide comments and conduct individual work sessions. Work with junior PMs to mentor and guide projects along the SDD process. Work with Engineers to create Research Development and Test submissions for funding.
