CurrentDirect and indirect clients have included major UK fashion retailers, a 1st tier supplier, tech and utility giants, a supermarket, recruitment agencies and a major food services company. Work has focused on ethical sourcing, with wider human rights and environmental aspects. It has included:• Leading gap analysis workshops, writing and presented findings and drafting strategic plans.• Working with Board members, Senior Sourcing Managers and overseas staff to re-design clients responsible sourcing strategies and programs, aimed at reducing audit duplication, improving assessment accuracy, addressing internal barriers to responsible sourcing, improving efficiencies,and raising workers voices.• Presenting to and obtaining senior management / Board approval for new strategies and programs.• Creating Responsible Sourcing, subcontracting & homeworking policies, processes and a confidential means to report.• Developing assessment and non-compliance tracker tools.• Creating and delivering interactive staff training workshops for designers, auditors and buyers. • Assisting a client in writing their modern slavery statement and writing another’s Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) strategic plan.• Conducting hundreds of ethical audits of factories, warehouses and call center's. (experienced auditor of SA8000, ETI base code, Fast Forward, Clearview, as well as client specific codes). • Leading the application process to enable an audit body to become the first approved auditing body for a global certification scheme for agencies. • Leading and managing the first certification agency audits at the request of a major supermarket.• Conducting research on the Modern Slavery Act and ways of gathering worker voices using tech.• Working with industry forums and facilitating stakeholder dialogue workshops.
