My name is Rowena Saini and I’m in my penultimate year of study at the University of Auckland, completing a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Biomedical Science. My degree so far has enriched me with skills particularly in research, close attention to detail, as well as a team-centred outlook. Additionally, I have undertaken several roles alongside my university degree which have allowed me to get involved in science-related events and team projects. These include my role as a Marketing Ambassador within UoA’s Women in Science Organisation (AUWS) and my ongoing volunteering at United Nations Youth NZ events. I am open to finding a working environment that provides me with opportunity for progression, and where I’m surrounded by individuals I can learn from. As a dedicated and highly motivated individual, I’m eager to apply my skill set to a career in the science field.
