As a former Chief Financial Officer for public companies I decided that smaller companies could use the strategic planning and advise of a CFO at reasonable annual costs. While many private companies use their CPA or an internal accountant to help with financial forecasting those professionals seldom have the training or experience to strategically work with the CEO/President/Owner to map out the financial resources and options. The CFO must work with the CEO to align the financial resources and strategic plans with the owner's desired vision and future. I played this role for dozens of small privately owned companies.

Energy Management Company and its affiliate, Integrated Resources were publicly traded companies traded on the American Stock Exchange. Energy Management Corp. was focused primarily on formation of public limited partnerships to explore for oil and gas resources. Integrated Resources was an operating company charged with operating the oil and gas properties within the public partnerships. My position involved functioning as CFO for both companies.

After the acquisition of Juniper Petroleum Corporation by Damson Oil Corporation I was asked to step into the role of regional operations management for Damson. My responsibilities included strategic planning, budgeting and overall management of oil and gas operations in the rocky mountains and mid continent area formerly owned by Juniper Petroleum.
