Leading the future-focused arm of the organisation overseeing communications, marketing, strategy, sponsorship, fundraising, relationship management, destination marketing and implementing major projects such as Turnbull House and Hokitika Government Buildings seismic strengthening and redevelopment. The OD team works to grow engagement with stakeholders across Aotearoa New Zealand and to bring history to life by sharing stories of people and place. Our role is to make heritage visible, accessible and relevant, now and for future generations.

Practice-based PhD examining narrative world building and the impact of new technologies on storytelling. My dissertation explores how and why stories transform across platforms and respond to the unique storytelling demands of their new media. This research is grounded in my creative work, adapting two much-loved fantasy novels into a television series and VR experience.

Co-leading writers and illustrators developing children's books to accompany the series. Screenwriter on six episodes of television series 'The Kiddets' (Seasons One and Two).

Working with New Zealand screen business internationally (particularly in LA) and leading NZInc relationships in partnership with other agencies such as NZTE and Tourism New Zealand to leverage major international productions.

Worked in senior roles across the film, television and interactive exhibition industries developing projects, leading creative teams, managing large-budget projects and overseeing marketing, communications and promotional actity. Creating interactive content from 'The Lord of the Rings -The Exhibition' to 'World Expo'.

Mid-Canterbury, New Zealand

Oversaw multi-million dollar re-development of Mt Hutt Memorial Hall into a major theatre, visitor experience, i-Site and civic hub in Mid-Canterbury from design through construction. This included fundraising, communications and promotions, community engagement, budget oversight, and relationship management with stakeholders including tourism agencies, Government, Local Government, community groups and board.
