Plan, organize, and administer all aspects of Department of Employment Services and Department of Human Services extended transitional housing program for homeless youth, and single adults.

REDI practitioner focused on advancing the cause of race equity, diversity and inclusion (REDI) beyond theory and into practice through partnership with allies committed to developing and implementing strategies that identify, address and deconstruct institutional and structural “ISMS” impeding organizational and operational excellence in furtherance of racial, social and economic justice. Provide technical assistance to organizations and institutions seeking to implement evidence-based practices that renew, maintain and sustain efficient, effective, collaborative cultures that align with organization vision and mission.

Oversaw and administered multifaceted programming affording over 750 homeless; low-income seniors and adults with disabilities access to immediate job training, counseling, and referral assistance delivered by trained, culturally competent professional staff and volunteers. Developed and implemented policies, standard operating procedures and systems enhancements. Recruited, hired, trained, and directly supported 7-managers, and indirectly provided same to 70+ professional staff and volunteers. Managed day-to-day operations of San Francisco and Marin projects. Supervised 15-staff members infusing DEI into all aspects of operations, strategic planning efforts, partnerships and community engagement. Developed and implemented training curricula for staff, program participants and partner agencies. Served on San Francisco Workforce Investment Board (WISF), advocated for policies that addressed social and economic disparities impacting mature workers.

Re-messaged and implemented protocols that emphasized the use of race equity, diversity and inclusive practices to increase public and private understanding of civil rights and fair housing laws/mandates. Oversaw and managed enforcement programs and projects. Recruited, hired, trained and retained a diverse staff.
