I organize and coordinate the content of radio shows. I determine the structure of the broadcast, create the sound of the show, book guest, track down interviewees and manage the Jock to make sure he/she knows what they’re doing daily relating to the broadcast. I edit audio for radio play, use creative flair to conjure up ideas for forthcoming shows, write scripts and make the most of audience-generated content, such as sound bites and phone-ins.I handle all problems when they arise pertaining to the show. Such as technical issues, discrepancies on the commercial/music log and more. I am responsible for the rundown of the show.
