Help various audiences including staff, BGA/F partners and allies, funders, and the public understand complex issues. The BlueGreen Alliance unites America’s largest labor unions and its most influential environmental organizations to solve today’s environmental challenges in ways that create and maintain quality jobs and build a stronger, fairer economy.

Developed and lead the organization’s Research Team in efforts to strategically incorporate research and data into BGA/F work.

Managed research and data projects, writing documents such as papers, factsheets, memos, and issue briefs, and communicated findings in the form of charts, dashboards, and visualizations.

Conducted research and analysis to support BlueGreen Alliance campaigns and programs, particularly those associated with the Clean Energy Manufacturing Center (CEMC).

Created a beta version of The GREET Companion, a user interface for a simplified version of the Greenhouse Gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy Use in Transportation (GREET) modelWorked with the Energy Choice Simulator model, a systems dynamics model of energy policies in the Midwestern US, to run and present energy policy simulations, organize documentation for source information used to create the model, and update user guide including wiki entries and how-to video

Conducted a research project focused on the technical, social, political, and economic factors of deployment of nano zero valent iron (nZVI) technology for water pollution remediation. Work included contributing to development of a system dynamics map of the system of this emerging technology.

Developed and facilitated after school science education and supported bridging the digital divide through refurbishment and deployment of computers with educational software to low income families with school aged-children

Developed and conducted council programs for Girl Scouts

Three years of service through AmeriCorps: National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) at the western campus in Sacramento (Class X, team Green 8); corps member in the Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) at Commonbond Communities in Saint Paul, MN; VISTA Leader through the Community Technology Center (CTC) VISTA program out of Boston, MA for the CTEP corps in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
