Our main objectives revolve around raising awareness and advocating for equitable opportunities, ensuring that Afro-descendants, indigenous, refugees and stateless communities have access to technology education and ownership. Instead of relying on external entities, we prioritize fostering local knowledge and capacity building, allowing community members to be the drivers of learning, implementation, and innovation in the field of space technologies. By championing this approach, we aim to create a more inclusive and sustainable future, where marginalized communities are at the forefront of technological advancements for their own benefit. It is worth highlighting that the organization is not just led by forcibly displaced persons but also by two afro-indigenous people.

Worked on the research “Critical Analysis of Mobility and Safety Challenges in Contemporary Space Suit Design” where we:• Researched advanced materials and spacesuit designs for lunar and Martian missions.• Analyzed solutions to improve mobility, weight, and durability in next-gen spacesuits.• Contributed to evaluations of AxEMU for NASA’s Artemis program.

In charge of the DIVINAS (DIVersity IN Astronaut Selection) long-term project which focuses on the diversity in astronaut and other space mission recruitment. Its main goals are to promote and encourage diversity during the processes, as well as to understand their different strategies and impact on society.

Worked as a Team lead of the Command and Data Handling as well as the Comms team for a Mercury Sample Return Mission design with the Research Assembly for Innovative Projects in Space Exploration (RAISE) team part of the Space Exploration PG ACHIEVED mission.

As the Crew Commander at MMAARS, I led two teams in designing a Lunar Hospital using Lava tubes and analyzing human settlement on Mars. My role involved developing a human settlement in the Moon and Mars for the MMAARS Analog Astronaut Virtual Training Program.
