•General coordination of our Transportation Departments schedule and scheduling/dispatching our drivers.•Documenting materials sent to and from job sites and verifying via email.• Notifying maintenance/trailer repair of mechanical or freight issues that may occur.•Have above optimal skills to communicate with multiple drivers simultaneously•Are able to confidently problem solve independently•Scheduling road side assistance for otr trailers/trucks with blown or flat tires.• Assignment of loads, paperwork, and related equipment to drivers for each days schedule and coordinate all changes to the jobsites as needed.• Receive multiple inbound calls directed to the Dispatch Office.• Works cohesively with all departments •Extensive knowledge of DOT Hours of Service and Regulations.

• Load trucks to capacity (within 10-15 min window) by pushing loads from the staging area onto the loading bay.• Stage pallets in its designated staging areas based on it’s designated location and destinations (city/state).• Checking to insure placards are properly in place to be scanned before loading trailers.• Consolidation of mail/material for stacking to create space.• Insuring the safety of others as well as equipment being used whether it be a forklift or an electrical jack to create the safest work environment possible.• Daily inspection of equipment before/after operating machinery and completing the equipment inspection list by the end of each shift.• Use of RFID scanner to track and record shipments.
