This role was as a primary designer and developer handling all internal and external facing mobile and web applications, as well as maintaining a component library. I would occasionally lead teams of up to 2-3 interns during university breaks.The majority of work focused heavily on usability to reduce the difficultly involved with using complex monitoring, geospatial, and administration tools. As the majority of the company platform was API driven (and often served off low specced network equipment) applications where mostly single app applications written in JavaScript. Customer facing interfaces where written in PHP as well as native Android and iOS app. Business automation scripts where mostly written in python.
